Around 6:04pm today, I got the exact text message "Hey name, I got your number from a friend (I hope its right) I think ur sexy.. call me at (323) 404-9175 if u want to meet ;-)" The origin of the text was +19736095214 so I figured this had to be an idiot.
Yes, I had my first name used, which is interesting, since I normally go by my middle name. The only thing that felt remotely right about this text is that, yes indeedy, I am sexy. :-)
Several companies, Juniper credit and others recently have been hacked compromising email addresses and my guess is nickname and cell phone information. Makes me want to change all of that information and replace my email address and cell number. Few people can cause such havoc by their shenanigans!
