was it a scam I got this name as well from an ad on craigslist

I also just received this name and number regarding a post on craigslist.  Thanks so much for the heads up

I got this msg from this pho number:

am interested in this camera,get back to me with your location and
more pictures if it is still available.

my cell number (323) 413-7934 text or call

Same here. A response to my craigslist ad. Undoubtedly a scam.
His 1st msg was:

"Am interested in buying your item, please get back to me with your firm price.

Mr. Charles Hall"


but since I required a phone in my ad, he sent another msg:

"Hello

am interested in this camera,get back to me with your location and
more pictures if it is still available.

Same thing here... idiot asked about my camera & my location. If they had read the ad, they'd know it was a lens, and they'd know the location.
