The same thing just happened to me in Austin as well. He reached out via text, requesting to stay a period of 9 nights, when I told him the property was only available for 5 of the 9 nights he asked me to send him my name and address and he would send a check. When I replied that he needed to submit an inquiry online, sign a rental agreement, submit a reservation deposit, and speak with me over the phone he told me again to send him my name and mailing address. I then called him up, he could barely communicate, and he said he was in California. I asked him to send me his email address, which is
[email protected]. I then called him out on fraud and scam and he hasn't responded! DO NOT communicate/engage/rent your property to this person. He is illegitimate.
