I am currently getting messages from this number, word for word. neer once does (s)he use the name of the item I'm trying to sell, instead calling it "the item". Offered to pay $100 over my asking price plus s and h to the US for his "wife" . I've had friends who have had experiences like this so I was suspicous. Glad I searched the number before agreeing to the deal.
I received a text message at 5:24 this morning (Dec. 28th) and this is what the message stated: iPhone 4 8 G Hello.... do you still have this item for sale... please let me know Hello... do you still have this item for sale lease let me know (The second text states) What is the present condition of the item.
Twice: I asked the sender how he/she got my number, and I did not get a response, other than this person asking me what condition that the phone is in.
I had placed an ad on Kijiji trying to cell my iPhone 4. I did NOT publish my cell number, the interested participants were to reply to my ad via email. This person is still refusing to answer my question; this is the fourth type of text I have received like this, from four different numbers. I have reported them all.
