I keep getting phone calls from this number saying it is a second notice that my vehicle warranty is going to expire. I press 2 to remove my name from the calling list and it hangs up and they call back anyway. I press 1 to speak to a representative to ask them to remove me from the calling list and I just get hung up on. If you can't talk to someone then what good does it do them to call anyway?!?!?! Telemarketers should be drawn and quartered!

(323)429-7523 called with the statement that my auto insurance has expired. I called back and they say they have reached my number in error and to press 1 to get off their calling list.
I just blocked their future calles.
Should I report this to the police?
This is an attempt to transfer your insurance to their company. Any calls you receive of this nature should be referred to the broker from who you purchased the insurance. The broker can then confirm the status of your policy. More importantly, the insurance industry is quite a powerful group and may be interested in shutting down roque operations like that.
Remember, if your insurance had expired and you were a reasonable risk, the company would be attempting to get in touch with you either by mail or telephone (and it would be a number you would recognize) to renew your policy.
