these people have been driving us nuts for months. i've pressed "1" a number of times and spoken to a number of "agents", requesting our phone number be removed from their list. most of them just hang up as soon as they realize they're not getting any money out of me. anyway, the best advice i found through reading many complaints about them is what i intend to try next: i'm going to have a whistle waiting by my phone. any time i manage to get through to a human, i'm going to blow the f**k out of buddy's eardrum before he even suspects what is happening. i'll do it and do it and do it until THEY decide to take me off their list. it's time for dirty pool!!
Called here today, and have done a few times over the last few days. I have gotten into the habit of not picking up my phone unless I know who is calling. On a whim, recently, I did pick it up (different caller), and when the guy started telling me about what he was trying to sell me I got rather aggressive and told him in no uncertain terms to take my name and number off the list. He didn't reply, he just hung up. That leads me to believe it was a scam of some sort, rather than any legitimate group.
Winnipeg here. They call almost every day. I've pressed #3, which is supposed to remove my name from their list. That's obviously bogus because they keep on calling. Twice I have pressed #1 to speak to a live agent and both times they hung up on me.
