I've been periodically receiving phone calls from this phone number. Today (1/27/2010) at 8:15pm, I received another one. This time I answered, and the recording said "We apologize, but all of our operators are currently busy. We will call you back at another time." Seriously? This already sounds like telemarketing at its worst (especially after reading some of the other posts), but to dial a number and not be around to answer it? That's lower than low.
Is there anyone to call and force this location to stop calling me?
Been having the same experiences as George and Spectre. They called three times yesterday, once today and every time it comes up as "AMS List." They've been doing this off and on for a few months now. They never answer - whenever we pick up, it just goes silent, and then it clicks and eventually the dial tone comes on. So I tried calling the number back, and it was a recording who said that the number I dialed (which is not the same as the one I dialed, hilariously enough) is unavailable, but to call a different 800 number instead. If I do that, the same thing happens with the silence, clicking, then dial tone. This is getting ridiculous. I hope they don't call back tomorrow. They aren't even trying to make money off of me - it's just full blown harassment.
