I managed to get this number for MGA, there's an answering machine. 1-877-642-1755, why don't we get a million people to leave their names and numbers, and they can try to sort thru that.
These guys called me today @ 1.37 pm. I'm Canadian in Southern Alberta.
I bet I've heard " Hi, this is Michael from Cardholder Services...." at LEAST fifteen times in the last thirty days and AT LEAST fifty times in the last six months.
Pressing 3 doesn't get you off the list. If anything it generates more calls. Talking to an agent gets nowhere as well. If you ask for a supervisor, they'll tell you there isn't one. Ask too many questions and they hang up on you.
Next time I'll just hang up.
I file a complaint with the CRTC every time those jerks call, With any luck they will be tracked down and shut down once and for all.
Both my landline numbers are registered on the Canadian DNC Registry. The registry applies to companies in the US as well.
Unfortunately, ever since I put my numbers on the Do Not Call Registry, I have received more telemarketing calls in the last six months than I did in the siz years prior to that.
I keep getting calls from this number and it is Michael about lowering my interest rates. I push 1 to talk to someone and the minute I say I do not want anymore calls from them they hand up and me. This has happened more than twice and both times it was a guy. The last time I talked to someone it was a lady, she was nice but I am still getting calls 2 months later.
I get daily calls from this number. If I am not at home, they leave a message. The calls are regarding lower credit card fees. On several occasions I have pressed 3 to have the calls stopped, but to no avail. These calls are coming to New Brunswick, Moncton area.
