I had the same experience with the very same email.

[email protected] responded with the following message from an ad I posted on Kijiji  --->>
Sound Good, I am happy with the condition and the price. I will be paying directly through PayPal. i'm presently working in USA as a marine biologist so i won't be able to come and do things personally,  But i will arrange a shipping courier that will pick it up at your door step as soon as you receive the payment, I have a Courier agent that handles this all the time. I'll add the 4.6% paypal surcharge to the total amount I'm paying you. If you could just send me a paypal payment invoice or create an account at www.paypal.com if you don't already have one and set it up within 5mins, Please can you provide me with the following information:

So once i receive the details i will go ahead with the payment through PayPal and then i will contact my shipping company after you get the payment. I will need your home address for the Item to be Picked Up by the Shipping Company.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM BE CAREFULL!!!

This number traces from LA and they texted me at 5am in "Engrish"  (yeah his English was that bad in a text)    I'm selling agressive winter tires in Canada! don't imagine there be much snow going on in LA when it's 64F there this morning.    Please stop wasting both our time you moron.   Actual text:
"Hello,is your auto part still for Sale? if available for sale?pls email me at [email protected] don't text cos am at work now Thanks"

Oddly enough, I received a text from (323) 438-3964 a few hours after posting my tires for sale on Kijiji. I thought it was somewhat strange that someone from area code "323" (Los Angeles) was messaging me regarding snow tires. Furthermore, this individual requested that I respond by email instead of texting.  What really made me suspicious is that he/she questioned whether my "auto part" was still for sale.  That "part" was actually four snow tires.  Hmmm?
Glad I checked this out before responding and thanks to everyone else for posting their comments. Much appreciated.
