Local number so I picked up on Thursday afternoon. No immediate reply after I answer. A couple seconds later, a lady starts saying "hello, hello....."with boiler room chatter in background. Knew it was some kind of telemarketer. She hung up after I did not say anything.
This is from a place called "Home Design Center." I think ultimately they are selling solar panels. The name of the company showed up on my called ID. It took about 10 seconds, seriously, for someone to come on the phone. I waited only because I was expecting a washing machine delivery that day and I thought it might be Sears calling. The person who came on the line said they were offering me a free evaluation of my home and would give me a free home blue print if I let them come in and inspect my home. I was quite confused, seeing as I can get a free blue print from City Hall.
Anyway, he kept asking me what my "wish list" for my home was. Itold him I don't have one. Then he asked how much I spent on electricity and would I like to get an evaluation for solar panels. I told him my husband usually takes care of the bills. He said ok, and that he wouldn't bug me anymore and to have a nice day.
