i just got the call 2-28-12 2:03 pm. and they left a message.... vanessa from trans-america about my resume. must be from the edd as i am unemployed at the moment. left me the number to call and i popped it into the search and bam.... here i am reading the comments left by previous "marks" "pigeons" "suckers to be"....wow.... people just never stop with the wickedness do they... i think there must be a hell because hell is the only cure for these - what would you call them?
scammers..no.. it's worse than that... devils.... that's it.... demons ... yay satan... you win...
Yea me to, yesterday 12/29/11. Lady on pnone left same message, and number, said got my info. from job search on internet.. I was also hoping for Job too..
i got a call yesterday from a lady @ 9:00 a.m. sayin that they got my resme from a post on craigslist. said to call her manager stefan for a phone interview between noon an 2, yesterday or today. i called and only got a voicemail. i left him my name and my # (which they already had). called today, and no answer. i decided to google transamerica & #. this sucks cause im unemployed and thought i had something good for the new year! oh well, they only got my resume, no important info on me like acc.#'s or ssn. i just hope they dont call anymore to bother me. if anything, DON'T GIVE IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT YOU! stay safe and happy new years people.........
This definitely looks and feels like a scam targeting the unemployed who probably posted their mandatory resume required by the edd in order to collect benefits. I posted a resume that has nothing to do with the financial industry and still received a phone from them on new years eve morning which made me skeptical to begin with. Do not provide Stephan with your SSR# or any other personal information or else your identity could be in serious jeopardy!! Sorry for the bad news and thank goodness for websites like these.
