Just got call this number. while I was talking to this Asian guy, I thought weird so I ask many questions to him. Above comeent were help us not to give them any info. Thanks "YEAH RIGHT".
This is a scam. They say they are Xerox and want to get a count. Then they need you to get the model number and that should have been my first red flag but I gave it to them thinking it is legitimate. Not so. Total scam. I tried to call the number back from my caller ID but it just continued to ring and ring.
Just received a phone call from this number stating they were with a printer company and they needed the serial number off the copy machine (yeah, like I'm going to give that info out so you can send us equipment we don't want or need). But when you google the number, it comes up as Gershwin Hollywood Hotel and Hostel. Hmmm, just a little weird...don't understand what hotels and printer companies have in common...
