I am the Office Manager for Dr. Tina Vu-Heaton and we do use an outside collection agency for delinquent accounts. I use a collection agency only after our monthly statements which "cost money to mail out" get ignored. I also make one courtesy call before I even send delinquent accounts to a collection agency. It is not our offices fault that Mr. Scott chose to ignore his dental bill for 8 months with no communication to us, Until Capital Accounts finally got Mr. Scott to call us and pay his delinquent bill. After his bill was paid I personally called Capital Accounts and told them his bill had been paid in full. Furthermore, Mr. Scott is our only patient that has complained about our collection agency. They do get results for us and we will continue to utilize their skills as a collection agency.

Why you have to complain about the collection agency or the dentist? You got the services from your dentist but you did not pay for it. The dentist has done the work for you and he is entitled to be paid for his work.
