We pick up and hang up right away with this area code sice we know no one from there. We get a lot of calls from it though! We assume they're scams or surveys or marketers. Too frequent to be wrong number. Never heard of the "company" on this call & and each one from this area code has a different "name."
I suspect this is another illegal telemarketer, because my phone number is on the Do Not Call registry, because my phone number is unlisted, and because I do not recognize this number as being that of anyone or any company or other organization that I have ever dealt with.
Caller ID was just "LOS ANGELES CA", and the majority of the illegal telemarketing phone calls I receive (and which are confirmed by this and other websites as telemarketers) have Caller IDs consisting of just a city name and a two-letter state abbreviation.
Because of my call-blocking device, however, this call was prevented from ringing my phone and disturbing me.
