They called looking for my daughter..said that there was a lawsuit against her and she needed to call them or there would be a warrant for FTA....scam written all over it!
Indeed scam all over it. Lawsuits are civil so there is no criminal penalty for failure to appear to a summons for a lawsuit. Second, she could not fail to appear until she receives a valid notice from the court in which she was being sued. All the hallmarks of a debt collector operating illegally.
Someone from this number called my daughter and her grandmother saying they needed to reach me about my illegal documents. I have no idea what they are talking about nor have I been to CA!
They also call from 323-484-2910, 323-432-0208, 323-487-1228 323-642-8218, 323-475-9015, 505-428-9749, 323-238-9760, 323-451-5519. Sometimes going by the CID of LLS.
Total scam operation. Claim to be located in Los Angeles, but I can't find any business called Berg and Associates that does debt collection. Sometimes called Austin Berg and Associates.

Have not been able to verify that. It's clear that this is basically a scam operation.
