“Return our phone call as soon as possible the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive I'm officer Heather Gray from internal revenue service and the hotline to my division is 323-498-6412 I repeat it's 323498641 to go to disregard this message and do return the call goodbye and take care…” Obvious scam.
That's a variation to what he told me lol. I asked for his Agent ID and, after a brief pause he said "S*ck my d*ck!". I laughed and he hung up on me haha.
This isn't the only number from which I've been receiving calls. There have been about 8 different numbers. They all tell me that I'm being sued by the IRS or that action is being taken against me. One even said that "my actions are now being watched." I called the numbers back; most were "not in service." I called this 323 number and was on hold forever so I just hung up. So, people really have this much time on their hands to run these scams?
