recieveey want.d call from this number just saying it is important and that I need to call them back at a different number. They do not say who they are or what they want.
Calls from this number are possibly coming from Pallisades Collection which is a part of ASTA funding. They were harassing my 93 year old mom over someone elses debt. And even when it was straightened out it took 24 hours to stop receiving harassing phone calls
These people call your phone number if your last name is anything like the debter that they are searching for. It's ridiculous how they just call every week with another name that is similer to mine. My phone number has been in my name for 17 years and its not the same name as anyone that they are searching for! I have called in and asked them not to call my phone number and they say they will take me off the list, but the next week they call again with a new name they are searching for. I am going to call my phone provider and demand that they block these calls from vcoming to my phone.
A supposed debt collector asking for someone not here. CID said OUT OF AREA.
Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker. Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-) I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to a political party or charity. After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use. The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.
