someone told me recently that many of these spam numbers are not actually spam, but actually illegal police surveillance activities.

just did a reverse search on the phone number, and even without buying the report they were trying to sell me, they made one mistake, they show me the map location of the phone number and it traces to the new police building they built in downtown los angeles. its an LAPD number and not spam.
