"I'm calling today because we are preparing to send out an 'updated operating manual' for your printer and I just need to verify the make and model number so that we are sure to send you the right one." - Jan - if your call is legit; you should have all those details within our client file.
"We do - but our server is 'down at the moment', so I was hoping you could just check this for me so that I can get this in the mail to you today." - Jan - if this were a legit call, you would know that we RENT all copiers and scanners and therefore, the operator's manuals are hanging on the back of the machines and... CLICK!
Good ole Jan - she calls every 21 days.  Chic - you will never get it through your thick head... I don't want your cheap-a$$ toners that were made overseas, just so you can charge me for a whole pallet of your crap-toners and demand an outrageous payment down the road because you were supposedly given a verbal authorization over the phone.
