i have been getting a call almost every day.
when i pick up, they hang up.
when machine picks up, they never leave a message.
i've called the number and asked the person who picked up to never call, but to no avail.
30 minutres ago they called ahain....
Yes, my friend is having me research this number because she is having the same problems. She answers the phone and it hangs up on her, or no one talks but the line stays open. At times when she is not home, they won't leave a message, and they keep calling and calling over and over again leaving hang ups on the voice mail. The number does show up on the caller id. She tried to call the number and it's a busy signal or a buzzing sound. I think this nunmber is set up with an automated calling machine which records the times of when people are home to answer the phone, so then once the machine has gathered a best time to call list, the telemarketer salesperson has another automated machine which does the dialing from this generated list, and then when you answer, they proceed to telemarket to you. And if this is the case, You could block the phone number, or if you are on the no call list and you do receive a sales call at the times when you had these previous intrusive calls, then pretend to be very interested in learning what they are offering and go as far as you can (without giving credit card info) to gather every piece of information you can so that you can report them. Name of business, Location, Name of telemarketer, how can you call them back, best time to call, what are they selling, website address, have them send you an email to a temporary account, etc.. Most likely if the call is from this list generating process, they are going to be reluctant to give correct information, and will be more focused on getting your credit card information. Then submit this information to the FBI. www.fbi.gov They can trace your information. If you cannot gather much information, just send what you do have to the FBI, cause if good people do nothing, then the number of victims grows without anyone doing anything.

Sick and tired of these idiots calling me on my cell phone ! Yes, I am on the Texas and FedGov do not call lists. They should be glad I can't get hold of them. Obviously they don't care who they bother as I am 76 years old.
