Caller: Out of area.
Rec'd call today 10/27/14, CID showed "Dir Asst CA". I did npt bother to answer, they did nopt bother to leave a message. Seriously, do they think that "Dir Asst CA" is going to fool anyone? Now added to call blocker.
This spoofer / scammer phoned again today, but left no message when the call rolled to voice mail. This pattern is typical of robocallers -- telemarketers using automated dialers -- to troll for victims. In the process, they sppof their identity with something such as "directory assistance" to fool the recipient into thinking it is a legitimate call.
According to www.whitepages.com this is a "telecom routing administration" line -- same as (323) 555-2525, which phoned me three days ago. Who knows? The same person could be perpetrating scams using both numbers!
Do not become a victim of these scam telemarketers. Never answer calls from an unfamiliar number. Better yet, get yourself a phone with a built-in call blocker, then add this number to your "do not ring" list.
