Called my cell. No message. An hour earlier I got an auto warranty call on my landline about the same thing. I think the car Dealerships have been selling our numbers....
I called it back and it was a recording that said " Hello, if you would like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you press one" .. I did not press one as I am sure that would have been a mistake . some sort of scam perhaps billing you big bucks for the call .
2017 and the scammers are back on the phone! California has a do not call complaint website for their area codes, it's the Attorney General. You know it's a scam if you can get a vehicle warranty from your own area but a dumbazz from out of state doesn't use a map of America because it's a SCAM. The opt out (press 1) is also a ruse to verify your number is active. Don't fall for this!
