Don't call

No Habitat for Humanity affiliate would operate this way.  If you ask who they are they say "Habitat of the United States."  There is no such organization.  (I work for a legit Habitat affiliate in Colorado, and we called Habitat International to verify that there is no such entity.  They had no idea anyone was making these calls.)  I get these phone calls too, and I can only assume it is a scam.

Emailed Habitat for Humanity at [email protected] and a few days later received a response which said, in part :  "Per your request, we have modified your account setting to receive no phone solicitations and have sent a notice to our direct marketing center asking that they contact those who make calls for us and put an immediate hold on calls to your phone number."

Still baffles me why Habitat would generate ill will by calling people, not leaving messages, and not saying anything when a call is answered.

I get daily calls from this number. I have health problems and this interferes with my well being

I'm overseas at moment, and calls come in late at night on my US cell.  I don't answer it - as it would cost me $2 a minute!
