These calls from phone #323-606-7225 might be a Republican strategy. Kitty is right. They had done this before (see report from DCCC): "Republicans Caught Making Calls to Democratic Voters in the Dead of Night to Anger and Turn Them Off to Voting and Dampen Turnout. Democratic Campaign Committee, I think. Multiple calls. Here's what I did. HOW TO BLOCK CALLS: Your telephone provider will not tell you how to block unwanted calls because the callers also are customers. My service, COX, shows the caller's name and phone number on the tv screen.
I went to the manufacturer of my land-line telephone's website and clicked "Contact us" which connected me for an online chat. A representative needed the model number. He gave me step-by-step instructions on how to block calls showing "Unavailable" or with no telephone number. If it's a persistent telemarketer, I block the individual number. It's wonderful, it rings once and then the caller is cut off. I smile.
