I got a call from 202 697 9415 and he had a strong Indian accent too. His name was Ricky Jordan. he gave me a phone number and I was to pay 250 dollars to get a 7,000 dollar grant free because I paid my taxes every year on time! lol I said thats weird because I have never had a job before! lol and I hung up on him and he kept calling me back!
I just got a call from a weird number. An Indian guy trying to sound in American accent was on another end. I am myself Indian so I know the accent and knew that this call is just a time waste. He told me that I have been selected for 5000 USD from US Gov. for filing my tax on time and have not gone thorough bankruptcy. Oh that was the moment I thought that I should have some fun with this guy. I told him that more than 90% US citizens file tax on time and are not bankrupt so are you giving 5000 to everyone. He said that he does not have data. I asked his organization address and he gave an address in 200 Independence ave Washington dc. and gave a phone number. He told me that if I answer his 5 questions he will transfer $5000 to my account. I asked him to send me the written letter of approval to my mailing address. He told me that he has all the information as my mailing address and my gmail id but he can not send letter to my home address because lots of time their $5000 cheques got lost because the receiving person was not at home and somebody else picked up the cheque. That was the funniest thing I have ever heard. I asked him that why do not send their $5000 cheques with delivery and signature confirmation. Then he got annoyed and asked whether I want $5000 or not. I told him that I do not want and he can keep that money. Now the most weird part comes. He asked me "You are Indian, right?" I could not believe how low they can stoop down and I said "yes" and I told him that in this fake accent you are also Indian. He told me that I am Indian that's why I do not have manners to speaking to Intelligence people. I started wondering do they really think that people would fall for them. After that I did not say anything and he kept repeating about $5000 and after 1 min when he did not get any answer from my end he cut the call. I am glad that I made him upset and hope that other people also treat them like this. There should be some action against them.
