I just got a text from [US-Bank Sec ..]. It's nothing but a scam, they send out a text to as many phones as they can hoping someone will become afraid that there is something is gong on with their bank account. They will try to get people to give up their bank information. I wouldn't respond to it. When in doubt call your own bank during banking hours and talk with them. I've had my own bank contact me when they though there was suspicious activity on my account, but they didn't text me they called me on my phone and requested that I return their call.
Total scam it happened to a friend of mine but message was from Wells Fargo. I got the US Bank message but just deleted it. Remember banking/financial institutions will address you by name in correspondence and will never ask for full info like that.
