They have called me from 5 different numbers. I almost fell for it the first time. They said there was an arrest warrant for me and I had to pay them $3000 right then over the phone . I told them I didnt have it so they said I would be arrested and they said they had a tracer on my phone. After I figured out it was a scam./ I told them I had the money and I would gladly meet them someplace but no money over the phone. I told them I would meet them at the sheriffs office.... they hung up
I recieved a extremely strange call from this number, a message of urgency was left and to not disregard the call. I have an app. that filters numbers and this one call mark number with ALERT Extortion. Be careful out there.
I got two(2) calls from this number within the last 24 hrs., the last one I picked up and I got a
message threatening claiming to be an IRS agent. I don't know where, why, how they got my
phone number nor the reason for a call like this. Annoying
I received a call from this number. computerized voice stating its from the IRS and its urgent that I call them.
i called them... the idiot on the phone had an accent and didn't properly state his business name and when I asked if it was John's Plumber service, the person kept saying what and hung up. I called again and this time they said [same accented voice] Officer Eddy IRS. I called [***] and told them never to call my number for their stupid scams.
