This number is the IRS scam. Must be new because I don't see it on here yet. Last week I had a recorded man. This call it was a recorded woman. Don't answer!!!
Got a call from this phone # today around 2:30 PST . The caller said nothing ,so I just blocked the call for future times. I did call back the # to see what if anything would happen. A woman answered and said "IRS"---I said nothing and just hung up. Why doesn't the FTC find out who is using this # for scam purposes,and take action to stop them?
In fact both the IRS and the Treasury Department have ways to report scams, s that they can act. Since your call supposedly came from the IRS, here is the web page that has a line to click to file a report of scam:
This call sounds like it's fron India. 1st time I called they identified themselves as McDonalds & to disregard the call. Then I called again & the same guy identified himself as IRS. Then he hung up & then everytime I called, he'd hang up..
I was called and there was a recording with a female voice saying that this is the final attempt to contact me and that the IRS, Internal Revenue Service, is filing a lawsuit against me and to call 323-729-3120. I just rolled my eyes and googled it, because I know the IRS would mail me something first.
