Thus man called me and sound like an Indian. Says that he is calling from Microsoft and he identified that my computer is having problems. He said he is offering to fix it, asked for my information...
Called my cell over a weeks time and left no messages. I am on the national do not call registry so I don't answer if I don't know who the caller is. Out of frustration, I did finally answer (I know, I just negated my previous statement) and it turns out to be Sirius radio calling to get me back. I told them to stop calling. I use Pandora now. smile.
Judging by others experience on this site, it seems they sell these numbers or let anyone use them as long as they will only use them to be annoying and/or try to steal from us.
called 3 times from different numbers -on Saturdays says something on computer and I need to get on computer so that they could walk me through on how to fix it -I hung up and a lady called back from a different no. shouting at me why did u hang up/
Called at 6:56 a.m. my time. Caller ID said California (where it is 4:56 a.m.). I get so many spam calls that I don't bother reporting them, I just don't answer, but I am reporting this one to Do Not Call list since it is outside of their permitted calling times.
I received a call from this # at 8:40 a.m. & answered as it was my birthday. It's a complete SCAM!! It was a recorded message claiming to be from the Attorney Generals Office - I.R.S. & I needed to call them back immediately. 1st Red Flag People: If you're in trouble with the law of any kind, they're NOT going to call you that they're on their way. Or pay a fine and it'll go away.
Sorry, our government doesn't work like that. Block the number.
