they call claiming they are from microsoft and they say there is a virus on my computer,phishing for info!

same here. microsoft security, i have a dangerous virus, i should do some stuff on my computer- which i didn't. don't think it's trustworthy

It's not trustworthy-it's a scam. Microsoft does NOT cold-call you claiming you have a virus, your computer is sending out info like error messages or any of your programs and stuff (like your Windows Key) are going to expire. They ALSO do NOT have third-part companies do it for them

We received a call from "Microsoft" claiming that we were being hacked. They wanted to connect our computer to their server.
