Called yesterday around 5:30.  Didn't answer, no message left.  Call is coming from LA

They called and left no message. Telemarketing scum.

Lady asked for Tom and I said she had the wrong #. Then she said while I have you on the phone she began a long speech on breast cancer funds for poor women.

Called my cell. I didn't answer. No message was left. City of origin said "Los Angeles"

Like Paul said, a lady asked for a name that is wrong, but "while I have you on the phone".  It sounded like a pre-recorded call based on the time of pausing.
