You are incorrect. Since purpose of the call is to generate a sale, now or in the future, the caller is a telemarketer selling goods. For example, the fake survey calls leading to a "free" 2-day cruise to the Bahamas are telemarketing calls due to the fees tacked on to the cruise which make it anything but free. The purpose of claiming a fake survey or free estimate is an exemption is to deter call recipeints from pursuing their rights.
These people call and do not even have the "BALLS " to respond, because they know they are not supposed to harrass people on "THE DO NOT CALL" REGESTRY ! ; WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT SUNDAY'S<>>> NO LESS...... "SKANKS"! JUST SKANKS WOULD DO THIS. They are invalid/crooks because <>>> YOU TRY TO CALL THEM BACK ; AND A RECORDED MESSAGE : SAYS ,....THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED !!!! GET THAT ONE . THERE ARE ATTORNEYS ; THAT SUE THESE PEOPLE BIG TIME!. START LOGGING , REPORTING AND GET ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST" <>>>REGISTRY... COMPLAIN ON LINE / LIKE THIS. PLUS FIND AN ATTORNEY. GET BUSY ; IT'S TO YOUR BENEFIT AND OUR RESPONSIBILITY<>>>> TO STOP THIS PARASISITICAL BEHAVIOR.................
I'm getting a lot of calls like this one, where the caller asks for my dad's name. Luckily I don't ever pick up the phone unless it's somebody I know and want to talk to. This almost sounds like the same thing as 714-657-7802. I wonder if it is the same outfit?
I suspect this is the "clean your airducts" people who also call from 323-798-8977. They are useless morons with no life of their own, and the best thing to do is ignore them. The worst thing to do is actually pick up the phone, because then they know they have a live one and will keep pestering you. I am reporting them to the FCC.
They have called me twice. The first time I was disturbed. He said he was in construction and if there was anything he could do. Towards the end he was asking personal information and a date. I hung up.
The second time the phone number appeared he just said he was in construction and I immediately hung up. This was on a Sunday!
