I got a call from a att. Mark johnson saying a sherriff was comin if I didn't send 120 almost did it til I googled the number wasnt professional raised a flag wit me so I googled it thanks google
I wish one of these payday loan scammers would call me - I could use a really good laugh.
These people are thieves. Never ever pay a debt without getting written proof of the debt (and it needs to be convincing proof - something that would hold up in court). If you ask for proof for the debt and the person refuses, or just tells you how you are going to be arrested or other bad things will happen, hang up.
I got several calls from attny mark johnson area code 323 on my cell phone and work phone. when i called back he had an indian accent and said i had criminal charges against me for interstate banking fraud for taking out a payday loan. he kept hanging up on me (I figure he didn't want his call traced). He wanted information before telling me what charges i had against me and who brought the charges. I gave him no info and after the third hangup I didn't call back. My wife called the number and told him she had called the police and reported him at which he said "go ahead I don't care"! Not very professional. I'm sorry but I find it hard to believe that anyone would send money to this joker ! It would be nice to be able to reach through the phone and choke this guy for all the people he scammed! Why can't people put that much effort into real legitimate work?
