Very threatening (but amusing) call. Heavy Indian accent, sounds like a call center from the background noises. Cannot even pronounce my name at all.... then he calls me by my last name first, saying my first name second. Probably preying on the elderly, foreigners, and other vulnerable groups. Tells me his name is John Davis, or Sean Davis from the Department Legal Affairs (first, there is no way an Indian man with that strong of an accent is named John Davis). Says that "enforcement action has been started on my name." Told me to call back or have my "retained attorney" call back immediately, to avoid a big legal mess. He continued to say he hopes I "take this right and call him back right away. And until then, have a blessed day." Whatever......sheesh.
I got a call from this number as well, with very similar words. Except he said his name was Ryan McKenzie, and he said that there is already a 6-month non-bailable arrest warrant out for me and that they will be arriving at my residence tomorrow. Another thing is that he had called under a different name earlier in the day (Jack Louis) and when I called back "Jack Louis", Ryan McKenzie told me that was his assistant. Anyway, this is obviously an IRS Phone Scam. If you get a phone call from this number, don't give them any personal information and definitely don't pay them.
Similar message to those above almost to a word. Obviously has a script - a badly written one. Jack Louis...right with an Indian accent. I won't be calling them back. Clearly a scam.
Just got the very same call, except I got a "God bless" at the end. Had to listen to it three times to try and figure out what in the heck he was trying to say.
