I sure hope when she said that she was adjusting her headset that you didn't say anything if she asked if you could hear her. They record your "Yes" answer (because most people will say...yes, I hear you) and use it against you that you agreed to their terms, or that you said yes to buying something, etc. etc. Best bet is to NEVER answer your phone when you don't recognize the number.
Caller is a recording that sounds like an actual person.
She laughs and adjusts her headset.
Super creepy. Hung up, but not before trying to respond to her. Ugh. Hope the caller isn't capturing my recorded voice.
Same comment as earlier poster...got a call on my cell phone. It was a recording but sounded amazingly like a real person...she even said, " Oh, sorry! I just had to adjust my headset."
I realized after a second of this that it was BS and I was listening to a long-winded recording. It was a basic, crappy vacation scam. She said I was getting the call "because I had stayed at one of their resorts..."
