I have gotten on some list even though my cell phone number has been registered on the do not call list for over five years. I received two calls from this number with in two minutes of each other today. Both calls did not leave a message.

A brief history of these assaults as I see it...
I had been getting a few calls from strange numbers very infrequently. Some times robo calls with automated outgoing messages. But very far and few between. My cell is not used very often and I don't keep it on my person so I regularly miss calls. But I happened to answer one day while driving and a American sounding male asked for some female and stated he had been trying to reach her for a few days. He sounded real. I assured him he was dialing the wrong number. No sales pitch or anything out of order. Thereafter the on-slot began with repeated calls from spoofed cell phone numbers mostly from southern california, but across the country as well. These numbers many times have never been reported on this forum, but indeed some of them have. And reported with all the regular sales pitches, spoofs, hang-ups, ect  you are used to reading about on this forum.

In the end I am resolved that I'll have to get a more current type cell phone that is capable of blocking phone numbers. Or even blocking area codes as I do not have any contacts in any of these spoof call zones.
