Received e-mail from e-fax saying I received 2 page fax. Nothing was attached.

Received e-mail from e-fax saying I received a 3 page fax.  The .efx file couldn't be opened by the efax reader.  Further research into the phone number shows that efax users have been having issues with this number for nearly 5 years.

Recently I cancelled a so called 30 day free trial with e-fax. Since that time I am regularly ( every week or so ) getting one of these e-mails.

I have tried to unsubscribe from the e-mail but so far no luck

I believe this is just an e-fax promotion to deceive people into renewing their service.

I'm getting email from Efax that is noit email. I just joined this last month.
What the heck are you guys doing to me?

Got one of these that said I have a 2 page efax waiting for me. Tried to open it and couldn't. Interesting, since I just signed up for efax a couple of weeks ago and haven't given my efax number out to anyone yet......
