Who called from 3238445611

SCAM!  This number (and others listed here) contacted me in response to an ad on CraigsList for a Harley motorcycle.  Happened as soon as I posted or reposted the ad.  No questions regarding condition or price.  Just wanted set up pick up and to give me my money.  Wants to use PayPal, wants my email and account info, wants to pay me extra for the person to haul it since they are not local.  Does not want to talk in person for various reasons.  Look out for the following numbers that use similar stories, including the one about the Military guy who is overseas and wants to buy it for his loving father as a surprise.  The numbers are: 323-844-5611, 224-795-4611, 208-903-8964. This next one (818-738-7798 ) is a telemarketer with about 80 online reports.  I’m sure there will be more numbers to come, but the story is about the same.

I swear that my motorcycle ad has had nothing but scammers like this [***].  Does anyone actually manage to sell ANYTHING on craigslist anymore?

There will be a pick up agent that will come to your house to do the pick up after the payment must have been made so get back to me with your paypal email now so i can make the payment asap..

posted bike for sale on line, got a string of 12 text messages, no haggling about price,  Claims to be on duty?? (military, law enforcement, on duty what?  Claims to be Mason. Wants to arrange for shipper to retrieve bike. wants other information.  Glad I found this prior to doing business, was sent the 6197204819 number.

Same guy doing the same thing in the new year. His new number is  682 502-7523. Now, Mason, is currently busy with his job as a geophysical investigator and is 'at work in the mountain'.  Saddle Park TX is his location. His email is [email protected].
