I've been receiving calls every week from the LA Phil Sales department about purchasing season tickets for the Phil and when I've told them no I'm not interested just because I went to one concert 2 years ago at the Hollywood Bowl. It's becoming really annoying.
It is the information line for the Los Angeles Philharmonic for performances at the Hollywood Bowl and the Walt Disney COncert Hall. I got a call from it and they left no message and looked it up on line and saw that it was the number for the phil info line then called it and sure enough it is. It might be that the computer that runs this number has gone faulty and is making outgoing calls to random numbers which is why it hangs up when answered and leaves no message, because it is an automated system.

I worked there. I can honestly say there are 2 departments with the same caller ID number, the audience service line and the telesales line. If someone calls and does not leave a message it's the telesales line. Anyone from Telesales never leaves a message and if it's from Audience Services they will leave a message informing you of the reason of their call. We get so much [***] from people calling complaining that no message has been left because Telesales continuously calls over and over and never leaves a message.
