Got a call from 323 861 9221, recorded message said this is final notice and IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, and to call the same number for more info...called the number, female with heavy accent answered saying 'Internal Revenue Service, and asked for first and last name and zip code...asked her to provide any info indicating they are IRS because this is very suspicious, she said they will see me in court, i hung up...very shady.
They called me too. Irs never ever call anyone. They send you a mail if anything. As soon as i told them that i know how irs work and tried to get their info the indian lady just hung up on me. Lol
I got a missed call I returned the call. At first the man said is this a business phone then the man said he was from the Irs gave me a badge Id number and the name Mark Steiner he verified my old mailing addresses. He said there is a lawsuit against me they have attempted to send me the legal documents but they weren't deliverable. So now they are ready to file my paper to the federal court house take away my license and place a warrant for my arrest because I falsified my taxes for 5 years. I told him to email me a document with all this information the amount I owe with Irs letterhead. I said this was funny he said going to jail is funny I said I will stop laughing when I get the email. And continued to ask for him to email it he got tired and hung up. The Irs will freeze your account before ever calling they send a letter and that's all

Same as above... The man who barely spoke English telling me the irs is filing a suit based on my tax returns from 2009-2014.... All I asked was, where did I work those years? You have my tax returns in front of you and you don't know where I work? He hung up!
