It must be "new telemarketer number day" today. My 2nd new scam telephone call today and it's not even 10am!

A call from this Montebello VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. This is typical of robocallers (illegal telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls. If the call is answered by a live person, the dialer transfers the call to a live telemarketer. Slick, eh? That is why it's best to let your answering machine take the call for you.
Robocallers are often scammers. Don;t let them scam you.
This is my third nuisance call of the day as of 11:10 AM. Had nine such calls yesterday. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. DO NOT answer calls from any number you don't recognize. If it is important they'll leave a message; if they don't leave a message they were just trying to get money from you.
