Add another number to his profile, I responded to an add, had same reply from him "Respectfully,Kevin Hodges Hiring Manager Cell: 323.282.3563". The company in the ad is out of Oregon with other names & locations throughout the US. The phone number, unpublished, is out of Los Angeles, CA. Sounds like this guy has been busy!
He says that something can be worked out. Asks for interview and wants a resume and current credit report brought to interview.
The advertisement I responded on Craigslist seems legit, so I'm trying to get some more information on who this man is, who he works for, etc.
I got the same email response back that all of you got. I responded to an ad on craigs list (new jersey) for a job. this is obviously a scam and I hope the web site (freecredsreport.com)he/she provided for a credit check gets shut down immediately.
I'm tired of these scams! I am an honest person looking for an honest job in this horrible economy.
got listing off of craigslist but got a different cell number..323-282-3563..my computer wouldnt let me access the freecredsreport.com so i looked up free credit reports and got this stating the job was a scam
I am so glad you wrote that. He told me the exact same thing. He said, Just get your stuff ready, the credit report and a resume. I knew this was a scam... I cant believe Craiglist doesn't take an aggressive approach to stop these people.
