I just got the same email from Joe Brown.  He saying that I owe $800.33 too. He does have my SS# so that is so weird.  What do we do about this.

I received the same message. I thought it was legit, it is not! He tried the debit over $300 out of my account but my bank did not authorize it because the transaction was out of India. He had my social as well and I thought it was legit because he told me he was from a company that my original loan company used. Very scary! and thank goodness my bank blocked the transaction!

I got the exact same email and you and just rings. Let alone if it was a real email and not a scam it should have the name of company.
