I GOT A COLLECT CALL STATING IT WAS A CRASH ACCIDENT, SOMEONE WAS IN THE ICU, NEEDED TO CALL *7213239213800 TO SPEAK TO SERGENT JOHNSON, I ASKED WHO WAS IN THE ACCIDENT, THE CALLER, HE NAMED HIMSELF DAVID ALLEN, SAID "I JUST HAVE THIS NUMBER TO CALL YOU", JOHNSON WILL GIVE MORE INFORMATION.
IT WAS A COINCIDENT, ONE FAMILY MEMBER WAS DRIVING HOME, SO I CALLED THAT #.
BUT, MY FAMILY SAID IT MIGHT BE A SCAM, I CALLED AT&T, THE TECHNICIAN SAID IT IS A SCAM, TOLD ME TO DEACTIVATE THE FORWARDING BY PUNCH *73.
I DON'T KNOW DID THEY USE MY LINE TO CALL, I HAVE TO CALL AT&T IN THE MORNING. SOMEONE SAID IT COULD BE A HUGE BILL.
Same thing happened to me yesterday, Oct 9th, also from David Allen I called the phone company first thing because we do not know anybody in that area. Any call that starts with *72 will forward your phone to the number you are dialing, in this case 323 921-3800 and they can run up your bill.
