Answered the call and at first it was a robo call then some fairey got on the line and said he liked my voice. He asked if I wanted to party. I hung up on that [***].
Can these [***] see why people can't stand to have them around?
Called them back, got a human if you want to call him that. Said he was Nation Wide as well as representing several other insurance co. Asked me if I want to save money on car ins. I asked him what the name of his company was. He immediately went on the defense...talked over me while I asked him questions about his Co. When I persisted, he told me that he had several people on hold who were waiting to save money etc. while I kept asking for the name of his co he told me he needed to hang up on me and did so. I immediately called back and got the same guy....funny, he said he had all kinds of people waiting on hold to save money. I said, " are you the same A*& hole I just spoke to?" He told me he has been called worse. He told me he placed my number in the DNC list and that I don't need to call anymore. I told him I would keep calling until I get more info about his company so I can report them. He said good luck and hung up again. Solution, spam them back take up as much of their time as possible and then unload on them after you've had enough fun.
After reporting this to Nationwide I got this email response:
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This call was NOT made or authorized by Nationwide. Please do not give your personal information to anyone until you confirm their identity. We are investigating who is making these calls using our name and will do what we can to stop it."
