well here it is today may 24,2010. got this call at my job saying i could be arested if i didnt pay for this loan i took out. wow where is this loan or money. i could not hardly understand the man speaking. they need to learn english.
These people have called my job (which is a government agency and constitutes harrassment) and my cell phone repeatedly. Threatening to have me arrested at work the following Monday, because they loaned me $5k, which of course they did not, and I never repaid them.
How stupid are these people!? I asked the person the name of the company before I give out any of my personal information and he hung up on me. I called back and it goes straight to voicemail. I had my friend call for me and they got thru. She asked the same question and got the same response. When she tried calling back it went straight to voicemail also.
Took a trip to the police department and they said if I happen to answer another call from them, curse them out if I feel like it and hang up but do not give them any information about myself even if the claim to already have it and want me to confirm it is correct.
DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OR CONFIRM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. They are mean, rude, and speak very poor English. They claim that you took out a loan with them in previous years that you defaulted on and you now owe them somewhere in the upwards of $5,000.
They will threaten to send the authorities to your home or place of work and have you arrested. THEY WILL NOT. I was told three hours ago that the police would be on their way. I live/work in a small town, I called the police department immediately to report this and they said that this was an attempt to trick me into sending them money and that no arrests would be made.
Report them to the local authorities, and then to your attorney general as well as the FTC, and tell them that you will be doing so. These people cannot do anything to you.
Received a call from this number regarding a payday loan that I supposedly took out on line an never paid back. For one I have never taken a payday loan out on line. I wa told the loan was in deffault and that I was going to be taken to court. I was told if I didn't show up for court than I would be picked up at my place of residence or employer.

I recieved the same call from this number and was threatened with arrest etc... I have reported them to the FTC and contacted the Los Angeles County District Attorneys office. Today, I recieved a call from the Los Angeles comsumer protection division of the District Attorney's office so I am hoping this will take care of the problem. I urge you to do the same.
