Caller ID from LA, when I called back it was a "disconnected line" I answered later, he was very indian sounding and wanted me to go to a fake widows support website and download and .exe file (executable file- Never Ever Ever download these from the internet, they can really mess you up) I told him I am not interested, and he started saying "I am from windows" we are a reputable company" and other nonsense I told him 3 times not to call back and finally he hung up.
I have been receiving multiple calls from this number, no message. When I call back with my Google number there is no answer. The number is listed as Blanche & Co. There are a few erroneous inferences as to what this business. One said they were a toy store and had closed. Another said they sold antiques; the third one said they helped customers resolve things and get solutions--very ambiguous! I finally caught the call before they hung up and some with a thick accent told me they were from Microsoft technicians and that there was a problem with my computer and they could fix it to protect it from malware and viruses. I told him there was nothing wrong with my computer and to not call me again. That was yesterday, no more calls since then. Definitely a phishing scam. Beware!
