Received a call from this number today, and the caller accidentally left a message saying this to her colleague: "If I'm going to write for a long time please don't make my hands tired and I don't get carpel tunnel symptoms."
This number 323-953-3386 keeps calling for my "dead" husband. Caller ID says 'Church of Science'. We NEVER had anything to do with this group and my family and I have been trying to get OFF their mailing and calling list. I'm talking ten (10) years trying to shack these idiots!!!
Thanks for the "get rid of the Scientology pests" hints! My only prior connection with the organization is knowing how to spell it but about 6 months ago I mysteriously ended up on both their phone and mailing lists. I've never answered their calls & they've never left a message; I Google the phone numbers to get info from sites like this. I've blocked at least half a dozen of their phone numbers thus far. The mail started out with invitations to join one of their local chapters (about every 2 weeks). Then notes about "Are you the same person I met in (pick any year you choose) at the (whatever location)? I only responded to one of those notes; "No, I'm not that person, I have no interest in Scientology, & I'm a lifelong, die-hard member of this church (picked a well-known religion). Please remove me from all forms of contact." Obviously didn't work. Notes received from them now claim that their records show I joined more than a decade ago, and I now receive packets of info, not just notes. I find it somewhere between annoying & downright frightening that they have my address & phone number; now I'm afraid that if I request to be removed from their records -- whether by phone or in writing -- that there might be some form of retaliation from them.
These infantile morons call every evening asking to speak to a person who is deceased. I have told them so but they keep calling. Maybe they need a psychiatrist. It's disturbing that they have connected her number with mine.
