Said they were a law firm out of LA. Guys name was Shawn Turner ( don't know if that's the exact spell of it ) but when I looked it up on white/yellow pages it was unlisted. Plus he called my friend and when she asked for his lawyer ID number he wouldn't give it to her. Does anybody know if a guy by that name really works at a law firm in LA?
yes i know the person hes an senior attorney at baileys law firm and the number on which you called up was a new number which was still to be registered in to the white and yellow pages so relax!!!!
and attorneys dont disclose personal ids to any person leaving people only who they know
This is a criminal enterprise misrepresenting themselves as a real law firm. The law firm they claim to be DOES NOT have a dept of investigations, nor do they solicit payments. Report these calls to www.ic3.gov DONOT give them any personal information.
There is nobody at a law firm by that name. These are Indians that are trying to scam people. They call me at least twice a day. I have saved all of the messages they have left me. They buy your information from somewhere (I'm assuming a payday loan company), then call and tell you that you are being sued because you took out a payday loan and never paid it back. When you ask them what company the loan was with they can't tell you (because it's not real). They give you all kinds of excuses and try to make it sound like you are an idiot for not knowing what company they are representing.
Unfortunately there is no way to block them because they call from a different number almost every time. The only thing you can really do is change your number or just ignore them.
