This call came to my son with the caller ID saying "Texas." The girl, Mandy, said she was from ACT. She got my D-I-L on the phone and at first said that I had given my son as a reference for a job and she wanted to follow up on my resume. Then she changed her story and said she needed to talk to me directly. Firstly, I've been retired since 2003 and am not looking for any job whatsoever, and secondly I have no outstanding bills that haven't been resolved. They lie and lie and lie. What a terrible way to make a living!
A PERSON NAMED MANDY CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME AT MY PLACE OF WORK. CALLING ME AT MY WORK SITE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE NOR IS IT OKAY. I DO NOT GIVE OUT THIS NUMBER UNLESS ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY.
someone called me from this number a few minutes ago and didn't leave a message. i called back and asked the woman why she was calling me and she wanted my name. i asked her name and she said it was mandy. i asked her to tell me what she was calling about and she refused to tell me unless i gave her my name and number. weird. i hung up on her. =)
This is a bill collector. She called my office asking and demanding that I come to the phone. She said her name is Mandy. She told the secretary, "I've had it with him" (me). I guess she is frustrated that she get not get in contact with me. I thought it was hilarious because here is a bill collector who gets frustrated because people avoid her. If thats the case, she needs to find a new job, thats what people do, they avoid bill collectors. I would like to find out what company she is working for and report her for calling my work and harassing the other employees. I don't think that is legal
